2. Reduce How Often You Use Automobiles

Vehicles are responsible for much more than the production of ground-level ozone. For gasoline to be produced, oil and coal must first get burned. The burning of these two causes sulphur dioxide levels in the air to increase.

According to the EPA, petroleum refineries are some of the leading sulphur dioxides producers. As such, the more vehicles there are on the roads, the more air gets polluted. Even though it’s not possible to completely stop using automobiles, you can limit how frequently you use it.
